This article analyzes the chromatic configuration of urban landscape fragments in the historic center of Campina Grande (PB), aiming to understand the relationship between predominant colors and contemporary urban transformation dynamics. The research is qualitative and exploratory, based on photographic surveys and chromatic data extraction using a digital tool, allowing the identification of color frequency and predominance in the analyzed images. The results indicate a predominance of neutral tones, especially variations of gray, associated with urban infrastructure and atmospheric conditions. More saturated colors appear occasionally, mainly linked to commercial use. It is concluded that color acts as an indicator of urban transformations, revealing tensions between identity, functionality, and the loss of landscape character.
