Abstract

Design study, developed for the Architecture Project VII discipline of the Architecture and Urbanism course at UNIFACISA, which proposes the remodeling of an existing building in the Historic Center of João Pessoa, listed by IPHAN and IPHAEP, located at Praça Dom Adauto, next to next to the Nossa Senhora do Carmo Church and the Archdiocese of Paraíba. This project aims to absorb the architectural characteristics present at the site, applying them in its formal study, without interfering with the previously established landscape, seeking to integrate the old buildings with the new ones.
