ESTRATÉGIAS DE INCENTIVO À LEITURA NO 1º ANO DO ENSINO MÉDIO ATRAVÉS DOS TEXTOS NARRATIVOS

Abstract: Strategies to encourage reading through narrative texts aim to stimulate a taste for reading and develop students' critical capacity. For this, it is essential to choose age-appropriate texts, offer a variety of narrative genres and develop interactive activities such as reading circles and thematic projects. Thus, for the present work, authors such as Caldas (2010) and Paulo (2010) were used for the literature review, carrying out a bibliographical research that consisted of reading and recording the selected materials. In addition, it is important to show students how the narratives relate to their daily lives and their tastes, valuing the role of the teacher as a mediator in this process. Offering welcoming reading moments and spaces in schools can also help make this process a pleasant and engaging activity. Using these and other specific strategies, it is intended not only to strengthen reading skills, but to form more critical and reflective citizens, capable of appreciating the richness present in literature.
