This research investigates contemporary social shifts within Brazilian residential architecture. We propose an analytical framework encompassing four core dimensions. Our integrative review spanned 1969-2024 across national and international databases. Explicit criteria guided selection. We coded 89 texts thematically, identifying 47 concepts within 12 categories, achieving theoretical saturation. Framework application examined three representative cases: São Paulo's Copan Building, contemporary compact urban apartments, and conventional three-bedroom units. This analysis exposed mismatches between accelerated social change and standardized housing production. Tensions between globalization and regional identity became apparent. Our operational contribution provides shared vocabulary for comparative analysis. The framework supports design decisions regarding program, spatial flexibility, and interior-exterior relationships. Limitations encompass contextual data dependencies and regional calibration requirements.
