Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• Articles may be submitted in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. Articles in other languages ​​may be submitted upon request.
• The contribution must be original and unpublished, not under consideration by another publication, and must not indicate authorship. The author(s) must remove all information from the file that could identify them as such.
• At the time of submission, it is essential to indicate whether the article should be evaluated for a specific thematic dossier or for the open section.
• Original texts should be between 30 (14 to 15 pages) and 60,000 characters with spaces (30 pages), including explanatory notes and bibliographic references.
• The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
• You must submit a summary (700 to 1,050 characters with space) and three key words, both followed by translations for English and Spanish languages. The maximum number of characters does not include the requested author data in the submission template.
• It is recommended that the author divide the article into sections, which should consist of explanatory titles, in bold and with capital letters at the beginning (ou, se nele houver, proper noun). In the hypothetical case some oil will be caused by division of seeds due to algarismo.
• The skirting notes must be of a strictly explanatory nature, with a maximum size of 260 characters with each space limited to a maximum of 12 notes per article. If a larger number of notes is essential to understand the argument of the article, the author must contact the secretary who will validate the request. When a translation of a citation is made, the original text should not be inserted as a note.
• The references must be in the body of text in the following format: (Abreu, 2005, p. 36). In case of doubt, please consult ABNT NBR 10520 (2023).
• In reference to classical texts, it must also be noted in the body of the text, with indications of the name of the author, the first word of the title of the work (in italic) and the section and/or the lines cited. The complete reference to the cited work must appear at the end of the text, in the references.
• Cited material should only be listed in references, not text. Authors should not use acronyms to identify works, as this procedure compromises the automated process of identification of references. All submissions made must use the standards of ABNT NBR 10520: 2023. We provide examples of two main types of documents, to which reference data must be added in the case of electronic publication.
• There is no minimum or maximum limit for tables, charts, diagrams, photographs, graphs and illustrations. All figures must be numbered, following the title, with just the beginning of the title in capital letters, and indication of authorship, in accordance with the norms of ABNT NBR 10520: 2023. The mention of the figures in the text must be made between parentheses (ex. (Figure 1)). There is no specific guideline for the size of the image, it must be the size necessary for the development of the plot presented throughout the article. We also request that the material be sent, preferably, in PNG format, to guarantee the quality of the resolution of the images.
• All texts should be presented after spelling and grammar checking.
