MODERNITY ON THE PRODUCTION LINE
CAMPINA GRANDE INDUSTRIAL S/A
Abstract
The present work composes a rescue of the modern heritage of the industry of Campina Grande, from a look at the relationship between architecture and structure, having as a case study the Indústria Cande S/A. The objective involves documenting, analyzing and disseminating the work, which follows the precepts of modern form, in addition to extracting design and historical issues that interest the academic community, working with the methodology of analysis of architectural dimensions, in which it is made from seven main points. The study is justified by the challenges of the current context of safeguarding and documents of such buildings, seeking to analyze the original design material before the de-characterization or total loss of the asset. Thus, the memory of the building and its conceptions are preserved, in contrast to the loss of safeguarding and integrity values that has been occurring at an accelerated rate in the context of the modern industrial typology.
