Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text meets the model/template instructions described on the About the Journal page.
  • The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described below in Guidelines for Authors.
  • The figures presented in the text must be authored by the proponent(s); In the case of figures authored by third parties, the proponents hold a document authorizing their publication, or they are figures in the public domain (indicate the respective digital address). The responsibility for disseminating images in the text therefore lies with the author(s).
  • Authors who publish in this journal agree to the terms described in the Copyright Declaration.

Author Guidelines

This journal does not charge fees or taxes for the submission, evaluation and publication of articles (See Open Access Policy, in the About the Journal tab).

GUIDELINES FOR COMPLETE ARTICLESDOWNLOAD TEMPLATE - ARTICLE

Article proposals must follow the template available for download and the ABNT Standards for formatting scientific works.

The article must not contain identification of the authors (up to a maximum of 5 authors), including in citations and references. All authors and co-authors must register in the system and keep their personal and institutional data (Email, Lattes, Orcid) updated, as well as the article's metadata (Title, Abstract, Keywords, References) which will be published in approval case. The first author must have a minimum master's degree.

Articles must be developed with a minimum of 10 pages and a maximum of 15, including references and figures.

GUIDELINES FOR DESIGN PRACTICESDOWNLOAD TEMPLATE - DESIGN PRACTICES

Proposals for design practices must follow the template available for download.

An explanatory text about the project must be presented (minimum 250 and maximum 500 words. Text only, do not include references). It must also contain a presentation of the steps and products developed sequentially (example: LOCATION; PRELIMINARY STUDIES; TECHNICAL DRAWINGS - plans, sections, facades, details; RENDERS, etc.).

Photo essay proposals must follow the template available for download.

An explanatory text about the essay must be presented (minimum 250 and maximum 500 words. Text only, do not include references). The images must OBLIGATORY belong to the author responsible for the submission.

INTERVIEW GUIDELINESDOWNLOAD TEMPLATE - INTERVIEW

Interview proposals must follow the template available for download.

A mini-bio text of the interviewee must be presented (minimum 150 and maximum 300 words. Text only, do not include references). Transcriptions and copyrights for reproduction and dissemination of information are the sole responsibility of the authors.

GUIDELINES FOR SKETCHESDOWNLOAD TEMPLATE - SKETCHES

Sketch proposals must follow the template available for download.

In the case of drawings that are not your own, the source must be indicated. In these cases, authors must have reproduction permission from the image rights holder.

Enfoca experiências práticas profissionais, ou acadêmicas, tratando as etapas de processo projetual e produto/objeto arquitetônico, urbanistico, paisagístico, de intervenção no patrimônio edificado, entre outras áreas afins.

Ensaios fotográficos

Miradas de arquiteturas e lugares. Fotografias que captem e documentem um determinado tema a ser tratado e apresentado com texto explicativo, que discorra e analise o objeto exposto. 

Croquis

Sobre a arquitetura, paisagem, e arte nacional e internacional.
