Cuidado de Enfermagem no Manejo de Feridas na Atenção Básica: Um Relato de Experiência

Abstract

The objective of the study is to report the role of nurses in the management of difficult-to-heal wounds in order to highlight the strategies used for their treatment. This is an experience report associated with the literature review, developed by two undergraduate students in the ninth period of the nursing course, at a federal university in Paraíba, during the practical experience provided by Supervised Internship I, in a Basic Unit of Health, together with the nurse and preceptor of the unit. The results demonstrated complete improvement of the patient's injury in question. In short, the management of this particular wound left a great burden of knowledge and learning. A slightly complex wound, but one that achieved the desired results.
